Digital Safe, Future Ready is an initiative led by Smart Everything Everywhere, together with numerous partners from civil society and policy experts, to promote an education-first approach to online child safety.
We want a Romania where children thrive safely online, creators can express themselves freely and everyone’s privacy and freedoms are protected.
WHAT THIS INITIATIVE IS ABOUT
The internet is where children learn, connect and create. But it is also where they can encounter risks and harmful content.
Too often, the default response is to restrict access instead of building safeguards and skills. For us, restricting means a missed opportunity to learn and experience, with no real impact in creating a better, safer online space.
We believe Romania deserves policies that protect children without turning the internet into a restricted, surveillance-driven space.
